This scheme is delivered through recognised NDIS partners that are categorised either as Local Area Coordinator partners or Early Childhood partners.

What’s covered?

While not an exhaustive list, some of the core services covered by NDIS Australia include:

  • Supported living facilities 
  • Support for tasks and activities that help eligible individuals live on their own
  • Support for helping people engage in society meaningfully
  • Support with personal activities that are required on a daily basis
  • Support for self-management across a range of activities
  • Support for critical transportation requirements
  • Support for keeping or finding a job or form of employment
  • Support for mental health needs and other forms of behaviour support 
  • Professional support for aids or other necessary equipment including setup and training
  • Support for home design, construction or renovation for greater accessibility
  • Mobility equipment

Are you eligible under the NDIS?

To be eligible for funding under the NDIS in Australia, you need to:

  • Be under the age of 65
  • Live in Australia and possess Australian residency
  • Have a permanent and significant disability
